Grief Certified Counselor.

Dr. Anderer is a licensed psychologist and certified school psychologist in Pennyslvania. After having received her Bachelors Degree Cum Laude in psychology from Cornell University, Dr. Anderer continued her training at Hahnemann University and then at Widener’s Institute for Graduate Clinical Psychology where she earned her doctorate in clinical psychology. Dr. Anderer was graduated with the award for distinction in clinical excellence. While working on her doctorate, she also completed training at Bryn Mawr College to become a Certified School Psychologist. Dr. Anderer’s dual background in clinical and school psychology allows her to appreciate the complex interaction between the cognitive, behavioral, and emotional traits that contribute to emotional well being and academic success.

Dr. Anderer has been consulting with adults, children, and families for the past twenty years to help them to navigate the emotional challenges of many life stages. Her practice focuses on both the assessment of complex educational and emotional issues as well as intervention strategies for remediating these challenges. Dr. Anderer works together with area pediatricians, educators, psychiatrists, nutritionists, and physicians to support the needs of children, adolescence and adults.  Having experienced her own traumatic loss, she works with both children and adults in navigating the process of grief.
