For over twenty years I have been working providing solution focused therapy with people in crisis. I started my career at San Francisco Suicide Prevention and the skills I learned from managing and working on the crisis line both compassionate listening, and remaining calm in highly emotional situations, has helped guide me throughout my career as a therapist.
It has been my honor to support a diverse range of people in a multitude of settings. I currently split my time between my private practice and as a therapist for Kaiser Redwood City Department of Psychiatry where I have worked for over 10 years as a therapist providing triage and assessment, individual therapy, and leading groups.
My therapeutic style encompasses training in cognitive and dialectical behavioral therapies, acceptance and commitment therapy and compassion focused therapies.
I have supported many people and families coping with grief and loss. I would be honored to accompany you through your journey towards finding meaning again in your life after a loss.
