Cheryl Hugo proudly works for adults, young people and children with disabilities, their families and supporters. 20 years experience, coupled with her values and training she has developed strong and unique counselling, developmental education and leadership skills.

Be. Counselling is an inclusive counselling and developmental education service. Not exclusive to those with or supporting people with disabilities. All people welcome. Children and young people welcome.

Adapted counselling for people using communication devices and boards, Adapted counselling for people with cognitive differences i.e. Aquired Brain Injury and intellectual disabilities. Mobile counselling and In-home counselling available.

Cheryl has a Bachelor of Applied Science (Disability Studies), Diploma of Counselling, Certificate 4 in Mental Health, Certificate 4 in Assessment and Workplace Training. Cheryl is a certified MAPA (Management of Actual or Potential Aggression) Trainer, Child Safe environments Trainer and Reiki practitioner. Cheryl holds membership with the Australian Counselling Association (ACA), Developmental Educators Australia Incorporated (DEAI) and Holistic Therapists Australia (HTA).
