About Front Porch Therapy
The title of her forthcoming book, Front Porch Therapy, also refers to the healing methods Gail herself learned while growing up in rural North Carolina. Sweet tea, rocking chairs, and front porches all formed the basis of a support system that helped her through a childhood of ridicule, abuse, and even abandonment by her own mother.
Drawing upon the Southern arts of healing and comfort, Gail infuses her therapies – grief mediation, angel therapy, and others – with a dose of homegrown lore that has helped hundreds of her patients to rebuild their lives and begin their journey to wellness – all in a safe, welcoming environment.
