I am currently a trainee member of the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy. I am in the fourth year of a Master of Mindfulness-based psychotherapy at the internationally renowned Karuna Institute. I am also a co-founder of the Safely Held Spaces project based in London, UK – which aims to help those going through mental and emotional distress to find compassionate support in their local communities.
Services Offered
In Mindfulness-based psychotherapy both the therapist and client are engaged in a joint healing process where an awareness of the body, its feelings and feeling tones, and the content and states of mind that arise, are used to explore the nature of the client’s suffering. The Mindfulness approach to the therapeutic process is a combination of established western psychotherapy and eastern Buddhist philosophy on the mind and body. Mindfulness-based psychotherapy is a gentle and compassionate approach suitable for a range of diagnoses including: grief, trauma, abuse, anxiety, depression, sleep problems, drug and alcohol addiction and spiritual inquiry.
