Services Offered
I am a therapist but first and foremost it is my goal to have my clients see me as a person. To me, the most important part of being a therapist is the relationship I form with clients. As my client, you will have my trust, honesty, creative spirit, availability, encouragement and a safe place to share whatever is on your mind. I enjoy working with children as young as six, teens, adults, and families.
You, as the client, will be the driver doing most of the work. I will serve as a navigator. I will be along for the ride and creating some paths or routes to support change. If we end up at a dead end we will simply try a new direction. Again, I want to stress YOU will be the driver. You are the expert on your life. If you are on board, open to making changes, and committed to the process life can be different. Change will come at different speeds as well and it will not always be easy.
I have a special place in my heart for grief and trauma and how these experiences impact my clients’ lives. The word grief can mean ANY sense of a loss to you as the client. A few examples may include a recent job loss, chronic illness, loss of a pet, abuse history, foster care, a relationship ending/ separation, or the death of a loved one. I am ready to hear about any issues causing trouble in your life and keeping you from being where you want to be.
