Hi, my name is Laura. I’m a counselor who specializes in grief, trauma, life transitions and conflict resolution. I graduated from Regent University with a Bachelor’s in Psychology and from Sam Houston State University with a Master’s in Counseling. I’ve travelled and lived extensively in other countries, so I’m able to cross cultures easily and relate to people from backgrounds different than my own. In my work with those who are grieving, I draw not only upon my experience as a counselor but also on my own journeys through loss and grief. My greatest comfort and healing has come from caring people who created a safe space and simply listened, and I strive to offer that same gift to all those I meet with.
I am available for one-on-one or family sessions. I offer online and telephone sessions, as well as home visits on a case-by-case basis. I also offer sessions outside of regular business hours (mornings, evenings, and weekends). At times I facilitate groups for grieving individuals.
