My passion is around supporting people who are grieving, those who have experienced bereavement or loss. I have experienced the sudden death of my husband and for a time felt that I had lost my place in the world. I felt like part of me had died with him.
I link my past experiences with my qualifications in the work that I do. I have a degree in Psychology (BSc Hons) and a Masters in Organisational Psychology (MSc) which means I specialise in the study of behaviour in the workplace. I put my skills into practice by working as a Practice Manager in the NHS as I have a passion for the wellbeing of others (with the use of Coaching Psychology).
I am currently completing a part-time PhD in Professional Practice: Psychological Perspectives, which focuses on supporting employees who have returned to the workplace after experiencing bereavement. I am also Certified as an Advanced Grief Recovery Method Specialist which enables me to work with people to heal their hearts both face to face or online.
