I am a Clinical Psychologist and provide therapy to adults online (Telehealth) within Australia. I have over 15 years experience utilising several evidence-based approaches to help my clients achieve their therapy goals. I now predominantly employ Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT) in my private practice work however believe that every person is unique so will tailor therapy to each client and will also utilise skills from Schema Therapy (ST) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) if appropriate. I draw from my varied experience having worked with individuals, couples and groups in correctional, hospital, community, research, corporate, defence and private mental health settings.
Life presents challenges and sometimes we struggle to overcome them. Sometimes we need that extra source of support and guidance to help us when we’re feeling stuck. I’d like to help you learn new ways of responding to your life’s challenges; to free you from your old restrictive patterns that leave you feeling trapped.
My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and supportive. I aim to help you create a life that is with awareness of what is truly important to you while also effectively handling the pain and distress that you are currently struggling with. I teach practical skills with immediate application to your specific needs and goals.
