I’m an experienced licensed clinical social worker and psychotherapist, and author of self-help books about marriage, communication, and relationships. In my therapy practice and my work on a crisis line, I’ve provided grief counseling.
Most of us need to talk it out to grieve and gain more of a sense of closure, and there is no formula for how long it takes but being heard is so important. I’m also able to help people deal with “unfinished business” they may have with the person they are grieving.
