I am Rasley (sounds like paisley) Easley and I am an Austin mental health therapist with a love of people and a strong passion for helping others. I am licensed to practice in the state of Texas as a Licensed Professional Counselor. My hope is that my role is to help people find their way to a path that meets their needs, empowers their voice, increases their coping skills and feels salient to them while seeking light and laughter along the way, kind of like Beyonce meets Brene Brown.
I received my B.A. in Psychology from Baylor University and my M.A. in Licensed Professional Counseling from Texas State University. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and my professional experience includes years of providing social therapist and therapy to children and adults with traumatic backgrounds, transition age youth (16-25), older adults and people with early cognitive impairment/dementia diagnosis. My work focuses on assisting clients with coping with life transitions, relationship difficulties and trauma. To me therapy is about culture, identity, creativity, connection, community, humanity and shared meaning. I look forward to walking this journey with you.
My Values and Approach
Are you making decisions that don’t align with your needs and goals? Are you struggling with shame and feeling like you aren’t enough? Do you feel like you are ruminating on the same choices and mistakes and struggling to connect to your identity and your feelings? I would be honored to help walk this path with you to identify and meet your own needs, increase your healthy coping skills and help unravel the unhealthy thinking patterns effecting your regulation and capacity to connect with self and others.
