These six words could be the autobiography for many individuals affected by death and loss. I work with individuals and couples helping them recognize the places where grief and trauma may be affecting them and their relationships. Through learning to take time to pause and listen, clients learn to lean into their difficult feelings, to release the pain and shame, and move forward into a place of acceptance. Through integrating psychological and spiritual principles, I collaborate with clients in their healing journeys and offer the option of creating personalized rituals to honor their loss and grief.

I believe each person is born whole and holy, and it is in the context of relationship with self, a trusted other, and a Higher Power that healing occurs. I see myself as a midwife in the process of helping you become the person you were born to be. As a Christian counselor and over 20 years of experience I assist individuals and families empower themselves to begin to live the life they have always wanted. Individual Therapy for Adolescents and Adults (ages 15+) addressing grief, depression, anxiety and trauma through a variety of evidenced based frameworks. Therapy modalities include: CBT, EMDR, ACT. I would be so honored to support you in your journey towards healing!

I am a LPC and a Certified Grief Recovery Specialist
The grief program I use takes a minimum of 7 weeks, is researched based, and effective for completing relationships that cause unresolved grief. After the 7 weeks you will decide if more therapy is desired after the end of the curriculum.
The location varies, we could meet in your home, at a park, in the library, or other areas that bring you comfort.

I also offer grief groups periodically each year. The grief recovery group program is 8 weeks long, is researched based, and effective for completing relationships that cause unresolved grief. The type of loss does not matter, all who are grieving are welcome and encouraged to attend. Types of loss addressed are death, divorce, pet loss, absent parent, incarceration, moving, and many other losses.
