BALM Grief Support Group on ZOOM
My name is Chaplain Derrick Hall. I'm a certified Certified Grief Counseling Specialist and fellow griever. I understand what you are going through and I want to help.
Our grief group is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. You don’t have to go through the grieving process alone.
I hope you'll join us at our next meeting. We typically meet every Friday on zoom; you can check the schedule for specifics. Once you rsvp for a meeting, you will receive the zoom link.
It may be hard for you to feel optimistic about the future right now. If you’ve lost a spouse, child, family member or friend, you’ve probably found there are not many people who understand the deep hurt you feel.
This can be a confusing time when you feel isolated and have many questions about things you’ve never faced before.
This group meets weekly to help you face these challenges and move toward rebuilding your life.
You are welcome to begin attending the group at any session. Each is “self-contained,” so you do not have to attend in sequence. You will find encouragement and help whenever you begin.
I come at grief from a Christian perspective, but people of all faiths and no faith are welcome here. Your individual journey will be respected.
This Grief Support Group is for people grieving the death of a loved one. Many other life situations bring deep grief, such as separation and divorce (http://www.divorcecare.org/), a loved one who is dying, estrangement, loss of a loved one to a cult, loss of custody of a child (http://www.divorcecare.org/) through divorce and more. If you are struggling with a loss not due to a death, this group is not designed to meet your grief needs for healing.
If this is the case, you may contact us about individual counseling at[masked] or see us at http://www.balministries.org
