Wellbeing Grief Support Groups

Summary: Monthly support groups that meet face to face to support bereaved parents in the loss of their child. These groups recognise and support all loss equally and are aimed to support parents in their grief through sharing stories and focusing on wellbeing techniques that enable parents to leave the group feeling a little more empowered within their grief. This is an Australian only support service.

The Compassionate Friends_Newport Beach Chapter

Summary: Monthly grief group for parents, and family members who have lost a child no matter what age or cause of death. We meet monthly on the third Wednesday of the month at 6:30pm. We meet in person at the Oasis Senior Center in Corona del Mar, CA. We also have a live zoom during the meeting for those who cannot attend in person.

The Compassionate Friends of Brushy Creek

Summary: A chapter of The Compassionate Friends in central Texas. It is a mutual assistance self-help organization offering friendship, understanding, and hope for bereaved families who have experienced the death of a child, grandchild, or sibling. The death may have occurred at any time, at any age, from any cause. The monthly meetings give an opportunity to talk about feelings during the grieving process. Newsletters, Annual Candle Lighting Ceremony, on-line community also available. No membership dues.

The Compassionate Friends – Morgantown, KY,

Summary: We are a self-help support group for those grieving over the death of a child, grandchild or sibling. Our goal is for everyone who needs us, finds us and everyone who finds us, finds help.
