Summary:
This is a free support group for adults with general grief and loss. It will be held on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month at Mechanicsburg Brethren in Christ Church and is open to up to 15 participants. The group is facilitated by Lori Peters, a licensed counselor and certified grief and trauma professional. Registration is required. Emotional and Spiritual Tools for Coping with Loss
Summary:
Our twice-monthly zoom-based grief group meets on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of every month. We provide a safe and nurturing space to share, listen and meet new friends while going through the grieving process. Co-facilitated by a Spiritual Care counselor with over 2 decades of experience in chaplaincy and a Licensed Social Worker with experience working at end of life and Hospice, we provide a holistic approach to talking about loss and bereavement.

GriefShare Support Group
Summary:
GriefShare sessions will be held weekly at St. John Lutheran Church in Maribel starting in March. GriefShare is a 13-week support group consisting of video seminars, small group discussion, and personal workbook exercises. Each week a different topic is considered, utilizing a Biblical approach to explore grief in a confidential and sensitive manner, allowing those that are grieving to better understand what they are experiencing.
This service is offered at no cost to the community.
Anyone in need of help and encouragement after the death of a loved one is welcome to attend.
