Summary: The Cove provides a free 20 week grief support group program for grieving children ages 4-18 years of age and their parent/caregivers. The Cove has 7 satellite sites in CT in West Hartford, East Hartford, Meriden, New Haven, Guilford, Stonington and Easton serving Newtown/Fairfield County. The Cove also partners with The Moyer Foundation to provide Camp Erin CT, a free berevement camp held once a year. Pathways to Healing and Good Grief in Schools are additional resources for young adults ages 18 to 25 and school aged children.

The Grief Recovery Method® Grief Support Group – Danbury CT

Summary: Group meets at Danbury Hospital and is lead by a chaplain. 8 week grief support group for loss of any kind. Helpful for those with recent losses or ones from the past. Group limited to 8 people. Meets once/week in afternoon except for the summer group which meets in the evening.

Constellation Support Group – Orange, CT

Summary: General Bereavement Group for Adults – Coping with the loss of a loved one has no set time frame. While our grief experiences are unique to us, comfort and validation can be found in a small group community. The groups run throughout the course of a year, in eight week closed sessions. They are facilitated currently in Westport, Orange, and Cheshire Connecticut. They are free of charge, but preregistration is required.

Survivor of Suicide Loss Support Group -Niantic, CT

Summary: We are a group of survivors, together, we offer support, healing, and hope that we will survive our loss. The group provides an atmosphere of acceptance for exploring feelings that are often not understood by others. It offers a chance to share helpful resources and to provide and receive support through the long grief process.
