Addressing grief as such can be a great relief. Knowing that you’re not alone can warm your heart a bit when it is in so much pain. I am based in The Netherlands and work as a certified Grief Educator and a Certified Grief & Loss Counselor in the National Centre for Grief Support (LSV = Landelijk Steunpunt Verlies), The Netherlands.

Beside grief support I am an EAP-registered Integrative psychotherapist (EAP = European Association for Psychotherapy), with a private practice near Amsterdam.

I have been offering in-person and online services in an international practice for over 25 years (from 1998). I studied Integrative Psychotherapy and Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy in London (Metanoia Institute/Middlesex University) and did my training as a grief educator with David Kessler.

I really think good therapy comforts and refreshens the exhausted life-voyager. If that same therapy is also a place of understanding for the hurt of grief, it is a place where you can refind your balance in life after bereavement.  My training as a therapist helps me in offering healing companionship, as a fellow human being who happens to have a bit of an idea how to navigate a landscape of emotions, non-clarity and unthought knowns. The Grief Educator training has taught me what compassionate wisdom in the case of grief looks like.
