As a therapist, I’ve worked with both adults and children, specifically in the areas of depression, anxiety, trauma, Conduct Disorder, and grief. Grief is part of our human experience, we’ve all felt so deeply saddened by loss…loss of our loved ones, whether sudden or unexpected or cared for them during an illness, or by suicide, loss of the familiar when we’ve moved, divorce, break-ups, miscarriage, our pet dies, community violence, or our dreams when life takes us down a different path than what we desired. Sometimes we just need someone to listen, to hear us, to witness our expression of grief.
