End of Life Doula
I am a grief doula providing peer to peer grief support. After leaving my corporate job I moved to Europe and lived in Germany and Switzerland while becoming a 500hour yoga teacher. I taught in several studios in Bern until my life changed suddenly when my husband was diagnosed with brain cancer at 36 years of age. I became his full time carer until his death in 2020.
As my husband died during my child bearing years, I realise that I would not have biological children in this lifetime. In more recent years when I discovered I was unexpectedly pregnant, I was thrown into the world of motherhood and possibility. Unfortunately, I suffered a missed miscarriage, which lead to expectant management and a D&C. After losing my husband and baby I have found purpose in being of service to others.
During my husband’s illness I explored many spiritual concepts and teachings. After his death I have studied a range of different topics to equip myself to serve others who find themselves facing a terminal illness, as carers, or in grief.
I hold space for those currently in liminal space whether that is due to a death, divorce, separation, pet loss, miscarriage and any other loss. Holding space for the little losses as well as those that change our lives in every way possible. I will sit in the rubble with you and hopefully we can start rebuilding together when you are ready.
All sessions are currently held online.
