Hilary believes in the mind-body connection and the importance of taking a comprehensive approach to address the overall well-being of clients. Areas of expertise include grief, anxiety and depression disorders, adjustment issues, Lyme disease, and the role of nutrition in psychological wellness. Hilary possesses a broad understanding of mental health issues and recognizes the importance of providing compassionate care. She is dedicated to creating a safe and supportive environment for clients to share, grieve, explore, heal, and grow. Hilary describes being present for the deaths of her paternal grandfather and grandmother as an honor and a privilege. She is intimately familiar with grief having lost her mother to cancer, and her cousin and uncle who died by suicide. When she is not working in her own private nutrition practice or counseling clients at the Wellness Connection, Hilary teaches indoor cycling at Ida Lee Park Recreation Center in Leesburg, VA, where she has been a fitness instructor since 2007.
