Jade qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist (MCSP HCPC) in 1988. She has worked in a number of London Hospitals and in a prominent Private Physiotherapy Practice (Fenchurch Street and Tottenham Court Road clinics), dealing with a vast range of simple and complex musculoskeletal conditions. She is currently working in her own private practice on the outskirts of London.
In addition to her Physiotherapy qualification, Jade has further credentials as a Naturopathic Iridologist (MGNI), Associate Naturopath (GNC), Life/health coach, Grief movement guide and certified Grief Educator.
She also has an interest in persistent pain management with certifications in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), CBT, Mindfulness based Pain Reduction (MBPR) and Functional Nutrition for chronic Pain conditions.
Jade is a mother of four and has over 21years of personal experience of caring for her PMLD daughter with Edwards Syndrome (Full t18). Her daughter died in 2016 and Jade has personal experience and insight in to grief and grieving. She also has extensive knowledge on carers’ health and well-being. Her journey through parenthood of a special needs child developed her passion for continued education and self-practice in health and wellness as she learned how to deal with her own long-term stress, health issues and chronic back pain. She became inspired to share some of her experiences and insights with other special needs parents on her blog http://www.Henibean.blogspot.com and writes about learning how to live with challenges and maintaining health, sanity, creativity and balance.
She is a keen runner, cyclist, enjoys Pilates, yoga and walking/hiking and swimming outdoors.
She believes in the inter-connection of mind and body and an individuals’ innate capacity to heal, and uses an integrative, individualized approach in her work. She strives to inspire people to take charge of their own health and well-being.
She works one on one or with groups (in person and online) with those who find themselves suffering physical and/or emotional pain, through both grief and/or physical injury.
