Services Offered

Having recently completed the required coursework through David Kessler Training,  I am now a Certified Grief Educator.

A Certified Grief Educator is committed to providing the highest level of grief support through education, experience, and insights into the often unacknowledged rocky terrain of grief. I bring with me David’s unique methodology, tools, and decades of experience to help people navigate the challenges of grief.

Inspired to turn my own pain into purpose by the many years spent as caregiver for my beloved sister who passed away from Lewy Body Dementia in 2024, I am committed to supporting those who have suffered the loss of a loved one, including those who may be a caregiver of their loved one who is nearing the end of life. I know what it’s like to be searching for answers about an illness, relying on support from friends and family and maybe just needing a shoulder to cry on. Sometimes just witnessing by holding space is all a loved one/caregiver needs in order to help carry on. Through my personal search for answers to Lewy Body and through my Grief Educator training, what keeps coming back to me is the thought, “If only I knew THEN what I know NOW”!

I am especially interested in helping those who are suffering along with and caring for loved one who may have dementia. There’s so much to know, so many resources to drawn from, and as I have learned, much of the learning about dementias like Lewy Body and Alzheimer’s may feel like an endless search. Grief comes in many shapes and forms and can be a response to the loss of a family member, friend, a pet, a job. There are countless types of grief and many ways to begin to soften its sharp edges. Oftentimes, it is just having a person to talk to, to witness your grief, someone who has suffered and learned through their grief and who is now dedicated to holding space for you and your grief.
