I hold a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications specializing in Advertising and a Master of Arts & Science Degree (Summa Cum Laude) in Corporate Communication specializing in Program Development & Design from Iona College in New Rochelle, NY.
I am a Certified Grief Coach, Educator & Grief Movement Guide.  I am a graduate of the International Coaches Federation accredited Grief to Gratitude Certification Program from the Institute of Professional Grief Coaching.
I have studied, trained, and certified by David Kessler, a world-renowned grief expert as a Certified Grief Educator. Also, I have trained under his tutelage through his “Writing Through Loss & Trauma” program and, as a volunteer in-training and member of his “Tender Hearts” program, a community of courageous grievers.
In addition, I have studied under Paul Denniston, founder of Grief Yoga, and certified by him as a Grief Movement guide, guiding individuals through transformative flows in releasing grief, anxiety, and pain through movement, breath, and sound.

Services Offered

After spending decades in management, corporate America, and non-profit, at some point, the decades of silent grief that I hid from the world so well through my achievements and accolades, beginning at the age of seven, began to catch up with me and in my early 20’s, my little size 13 body began to morph into a 300-pound woman, which wasn’t as a result of uncontrollable eating habits.
It was then and only then through decades of fighting to overcome morbid obesity, learning to face my fears and the trauma of my past, blogging about my weight loss journey, and a lot of therapy, did I discover the culprit behind my rapid weight gain…decades of stuffed childhood and life-time grief that was killing me slowly and had me stuck, emotionally. Emotionally, I was still that seven-year-old girl that became an adult longing for her family, grieving countless family members that died too soon, leaving me longing, sad, feeling abandoned by their departure, and stuck in grief.
In working through my decades of grief and finding healing, I heard the call to give my pain a voice and in finding my voice, I heard and answered the call to help others, give their pain, a voice too.
Today, I am the founder and CEO of UnStuck! Worldwide, a Grief & Life Coaching business at http://www.unstuckworldwide.com, serving generations in moving from grief, loss & pain to meaning, joy, and purpose.
I am also the Founder of B.O.O.M!, Breaking Obesity, Overcoming Morbidity! and, Break, Obliterate & Overcome Mountains!, a Faith-based blog site that encourages and inspires people to Break, Obliterate & Overcome Mountains and find their God-given purpose and calling in Christ at ‪http://www.boom4christ.com‬.

I am a Writer, Blogger, Motivational Speaker, Presenter, Program Developer, Creator, and Workshop Facilitator, but more importantly, I’m a wife of a beautiful husband of 13 years, a mother of two beautiful girls, a daughter, a sister, a best friend, and encourager to anyone I meet. But what I’m most proud of is my faith, being an overcomer, and today, being a courageous griever.
