Services Offered
You are the ‘Tree of Life’
We are truly exceptional and gifted human beings to have made it to this point of our lives with the difficult circumstances and challenges we have been given.
At times it might feel that nobody could understand or process the multi-layers of bewilderment we have gone through. It might have felt like so many doors have been closed and opportunities lost because we were not ready, felt emotionally disconnected or even unsafe around other people.
I offer a holistic and person-centred service. This means that I’m bound to a lifetime of learning and training which is passed on to the people I work with. I’ve worked and trained in many settings and countries and have a life-span of lived experience and knowledge about therapy, techniques and self-development.
I have had the benefit of working within hospitals, am the founder and CEO of an international wellbeing organisation, have provided training for mental health practitioners, in addition to learning from ingenious models from around the world. I believe we can begin to rewrite our stories and destinies. The story always begins with you and your life experience. Your stories, not yet shared or processed, are yet to come to fruition. Like a rosebud which needs the right conditions to blossom.
In this lifetime we can often feel like strangers passing in the night, with no lighthouse or compass. Grasping for something to make sense of our suffering and the path to liberation. Sometimes we forget that we are the lighthouse, and the source is inside us. When we receive that intuitive message – perhaps through an ally, dream, or other intuitive means – we know and recognize progress, and we begin to transcend and shed old broken narratives and negative circumstances.
Our sessions are therefore an opportunity to explore loss, grief, trauma and human connection, and transcend through techniques of rewriting your narrative and becoming more whole and integrated.
The methodology of counselling sessions may include CBT, mindfulness, journaling, tapping & somatic reprogramming, drumming, worksheets and retreats.
The stages of therapy:
1. Assessment and road map and trajectory of the healing process
2. Establishing stability and balance in one’s body using a somatic approach.
3. Recognition of one’s own core inner strength and potential, and our resources.
4. Regulation of our emotions, and recognition of trigger points. Use of ‘tapping’.
5. Developing and enhancing our skill set for managing painful and unwanted experiences, and minimising unhelpful responses through rewriting our narratives and stories.
6. Developing and sustaining a more positive and optimistic outlook through selfcare
