Services Offered
I am a psychotherapist in private practice based in the District of Columbia. I specialize in grief and loss, as well as couples and family therapy. My personal experiences of grief opened my eyes to grief’s pain and complexity, but also allowed me to see that it could be navigated. What I learned made me want to help others. My education, training, and experience have provided me with the tools to help guide individuals and couples though the grieving process.
My work with clients experiencing loss has addressed a range of situations and challenges. I work with people who separated or divorced, relocated or lost a job, retired, experienced trauma, or received a diagnosis of illness for themselves or a loved one. Such life events and transitions can causes feelings of loss–of relationship, of family unit, of culture, identity, or health–and can be addressed through therapy.
