About Katie Mark, MSW, LICSW:
As a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, I have more than a decade of experience providing social, emotional and mental health services to individuals in a variety of settings. I am deeply passionate about providing care, comfort and resources to those who are most in need, empowering them to live safe, healthy and fulfilling lives. I am proud to practice a career rooted in caring for people – no matter the challenges or circumstances you have been dealt in life. I am here to listen, guide and help you through your most difficult times and cheer you on as you achieve your goals and live the life you have been reaching for.
Mental health therapy in nature: let’s run or walk together.
Coupling exercise with mental health treatment can make a profound impact. I have found that individuals who are committed to their treatment plans and incorporate goals that include exercise begin to feel better faster. There is something about running and/or walking in nature that just feels good.
I work with adult individuals who are seeking support with depression, anxiety, grief / loss, life transitions, relationship issues and more. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Supportive Psychotherapy and Mindfulness in my treatment approach.
Taking that first step in feeling better can be hard – let me help guide and support you through the process.
