I have been Chapter Leader for The Compassionate Friends of Rockville Centre facilitating a support group for parents after loss of a child, along with siblings, and grandparents. I became an active member with my Mother with TCF over 20 years ago after the passing of my brother and father. The group has been instrumental during my grief journey. Now being Chapter Leader for the past five years, I am passionate about helping others through my involvement for our monthly meetings, luncheons, plantings and other activities that has created a community and friendships. That when I got married I had four tables of Compassionate Friends Moms and Dads dancing at my wedding.
I continue on this grief journey helping family, friends and strangers along the way. Always say when I help that one person it gives joy to my heart.
