You wake up each day and it hits you again. You’ve entered a new reality: one you would do anything to escape. You’ve lost something or someone that made life make sense. The things that usually help aren’t available due to the pandemic. It doesn’t feel like the people in your life to whom you turn for support understand what you’re going through. Or you worry they have too much going on in their own lives.

I can help you learn to manage the overwhelming emotions coming at you each day. I’ll be there with you to unpack your grief, in the many ways it will show up. I’ll help you learn healthy ways to cope and care for yourself during grief, and together, we’ll explore what your new life, the life with grief, will look like.

Reaching out for help is hard and overwhelming. I offer a free, 15-minute consultation so we can get to know one another. I respond to emails and calls promptly (within one business day or less). I am a psychotherapist, and a certified grief educator. I provide short term brief psychotherapy to reduce suffering in the areas of trauma, grief, anxiety, and depression. I use an integrative approach of cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, internal family system, and EMDR to work through trauma and creating a path of healing and meaningful growth. Our narrative gives us the power to be the change we want to be as we grow and heal.

Grief can take on many forms. When you experience a loss, it can feel like the world has ended. Your heartbreak, broken dreams, and sense of self are all being shaken to their core. Unfortunately, there is no one-size-fits-all approach to processing grief. Every person’s journey is different. But I know you are not alone in your struggle—I’ve been there too!

I currently provide individual and group support for women and the LGBTQ+ community navigating their grief journey. In addition, I hold workshops with other experts in the holistic field. Our work together involves holding a safe space to express and process your emotions as you find your purpose in this world. Our services are entirely virtual. You can do it from the comfort of your home or wherever you find a private space.
