Grief can take on many forms. When you experience a loss, it can feel like the world has ended. Your heartbreak, broken dreams, and sense of self are all being shaken to their core. Unfortunately, there is no one-size-fits-all approach to processing grief. Every person’s journey is different. But I know you are not alone in your struggle—I’ve been there too!

As a licensed clinical social worker, certified grief educator, truth-teller, and bereaved. I want to support you in finding meaning after your loss. Everyone needs support during times of loss.

I currently provide individual and group support for women and the LGBTQ+ community navigating their grief journey. In addition, I hold workshops with other experts in the holistic field. Our work together involves holding a safe space to express and process your emotions as you find your purpose in this world. Our services are entirely virtual. You can do it from the comfort of your home or wherever you find a private space.

Grief support and education — facilitating groups, workshops, and presentations that help individuals and families navigate loss, understand the grieving process, and build meaning after loss.

Community training and outreach — delivering educational sessions on grief, resilience, and emotional wellness for community organizations, faith groups, or civic programs.

Support for first responders — specialized support and debriefing for law enforcement, fire, EMS, and other emergency personnel dealing with cumulative stress, critical incidents, and grief exposure.

Program leadership and development — growing and sustaining initiatives like Left Behind Not Alone to expand access to grief resources, peer support, and community connection.

Clinical social work services — applying social work skills such as active listening, strength-based engagement, and culturally responsive care in therapeutic or supportive contexts.

Public speaking and consultation — guest speaking, training labs, and consultation on topics such as grief education, trauma response, and community well-being.

Certified Grief Educator, 2022 Summer Cohort – A Certified Grief Educator is committed to providing the highest level of grief support through education, experience, and insights into the often unacknowledged rocky terrain of grief.  Certified Grief Educators complete a certificate program designed by world-renowned grief expert, David Kessler. They bring his unique methodology, tools, and decades of experience to help people navigate the challenges of grief.  Individual and family counseling services provided.

SYMBIS Assessment Facilitator – Provides tools to promote healthy relationships in work as a SYMBIS assessment facilitator offering pre-marital, marriage, and relationship counseling to couples. Stresses awareness, acceptance, communication, and intentionality.

In my work with couples and families, I have completed Level 1 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy and use Gottman Method Couples Therapy in my work.  In addition, I am a Gottman Bringing Baby Home Educator. “Bringing Baby Home parents workshops help parents strengthen their friendship, increase intimacy, and regulate conflict—thereby improving their well-being and that of their child(ren).”

Certificate in Play Therapy – Training in the use of play to provide therapeutic counseling services when talk therapy is not always the answer.  Play is the language of children and they learn, express themselves, and heal through this powerful medium.   In addition, play and expressive arts are powerful tools in working with individuals in the areas of self-awareness, self-acceptance, trauma, attachment, social/emotional regulation, and relationships.
