Unfortunately, there is no one-size-fits-all approach to processing grief. Every person’s journey is different. But I know you are not alone in your struggle—I’ve been there too!

As a licensed clinical social worker, certified grief educator, truth-teller, and bereaved. I want to support you in finding meaning after your loss. Everyone needs support during times of loss.

I currently provide individual and group support for women and the LGBTQ+ community navigating their grief journey. In addition, I hold workshops with other experts in the holistic field. Our work together involves holding a safe space to express and process your emotions as you find your purpose in this world. Our services are entirely virtual. You can do it from the comfort of your home or wherever you find a private space.

Are you challenged by loss and grief? Grief is a change we didn’t want, and our grief is our love.  Whether it’s the loss of a loved one, the loss of a dream, or life transitions, grief can be brutal. Grief work is about processing the loss and discovering the healing gift in it. It doesn’t take a lot of time; it takes some dedicated time.  At times, grief is complicated by different circumstances, like multiple losses, family relationships, depression, or anxiety. Grief can overwhelm and we can feel confused, numb, isolated, exhausted, questioning, angry, and curious. Grieving is a landscape that is varied, very personal and can change over time. Grief is part of the ebb and flow of life. Our ancestors knew how to grieve. In our modern fast paced world, we have forgotten. In our rugged individualistic culture, we may forget that we heal in community. We don’t have to walk these paths alone.

I am physically located in Philadelphia, PA and Merritt Island, FL.  I offer affordable virtual only services – grief support groups, counseling, consultations, coaching, heart to heart conversations and community presentations specific to grief.  Some of my grief support groups are through a Jewish lens. I also facilitate education and support groups for some Jewish groups including Aleph Jewish Renewal. I have over 40 years experience in the mental health and addiction fields and work with adults 18+.

SYMBIS Assessment Facilitator – Provides tools to promote healthy relationships in work as a SYMBIS assessment facilitator offering pre-marital, marriage, and relationship counseling to couples. Stresses awareness, acceptance, communication, and intentionality.  Also, work with The Gottman Method in providing relationship counseling services.

Certificate in Play Therapy – Training in the use of play to provide therapeutic counseling services when talk therapy is not always the answer.  Play is the language of children and they learn, express themselves, and heal through this powerful medium.   In addition, play and expressive arts are powerful tools in working with individuals in the areas of self-awareness, self-acceptance, trauma, attachment, social/emotional regulation, and relationships.
