Services Offered

Cari is a Registered Psychotherapist, Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC), and a Fellow in Thanatology: Death, Dying, Loss, and Bereavement. She specializes in grief counselling for both death and non-death losses and supports individuals and caregivers facing grief in all its forms, life-limiting illnesses, caregiving stress, and major life transitions. Sessions are offered in person in Toronto or virtually across Canada.

Grounded in a client-centred, strengths-based, and attachment-focused approach, Cari draws on Family Systems Theory, Narrative Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Spiritually Integrated Psychotherapy (SIP) and Internal Family Systems (IFS). She recognizes the importance of spiritual wellbeing—whether it is a source of strength or an area of pain—and creates space for all parts of the human experience in the therapy room. Clients can expect a warm, down-to-earth presence, gentle encouragement, and practical tools to help navigate all forms of loss and build resilience. Cari’s work is guided by compassion, curiosity, and a belief that healing happens through connection, storytelling, and being truly heard. Alongside one-on-one psychotherapy, Cari also offers death and grief education services including community workshops, speaking engagements, and group facilitation.
