I offer 1:1 therapy sessions in-person, online or over the phone, whatever works best and feels most comfortable to you. I also offer in-person grief support groups and information sessions.
If you’re doing everything you can to hold it all together while experiencing grief, you’re not alone. Grief has a way of touching every part of our lives, and tends to sneak up on us when we least expect it. Some days you may feel overwhelmed with sadness, confusion, anger, or guilt. Other days you may feel relieved, or numb, or just simply worn out from trying to manage it all. It can feel isolating and lonely when the rest of the world seems to have moved on so quickly after the loss, like nothing happened; there might be a part of you that feels like your close family and friends don’t truly understand what you’re going through, leaving you to deal with all your thoughts, feelings, and emotions on your own. Whether you’re preparing for a loss, grieving someone/something you cared for, or holding onto grief that feels invisible or complicated, you don’t have to walk through it alone.
When painful thoughts and emotions start to take over, it can feel impossible to find a way forward. I offer a space to truly exhale — where you can speak honestly, uncensored, and don’t have to put on a brave face or pretend you’re okay. My goal is not to “fix” your grief, but to walk alongside you with curiosity and compassion as we explore and learn how to integrate your grief into your life with greater ease and in a way that feels right to you.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply needing a supportive space to talk, I encourage you to call or email me. Taking this first step can be hard and even a little scary, so when you’re ready, I’m here.
