Hi, My name is DeLayna Stout. I work as a contract therapist for therapy for families. I am a compassionate, open, and affirming clinical counselor who has thirteen years’ experience working with young children, individuals, couples, families, and the military. I love helping people feel grounded in who they are and deciding with confidence how to move forward to build the life they want. My training includes dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral therapy (CBT), and Emotionally Focused therapy (EFT). I am also certified in Cognitive Behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBT-I). I am informed and always increasing my education in the mind body connection and sensory-psychomotor approaches to trauma. Qualifications:
I obtained bachelor’s degrees in psychology and human development and family studies from the University of Utah. I also earned a master’s degree in educational psychology from the University of Utah. I am certified in cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia and am working towards certifications in EMDR, advanced complex trauma, and play therapy.
