I have a Bachelor’s degree in custodial education and completed my studies with a Master’s degree in social rehabilitation. My post-graduate studies concentrated on counselling and psychotherapy where I trained in a pluralistic approach specifically concentrating on an outcome-oriented approach to psychotherapy. I have a substantial medical background working for many years supporting vulnerable adults as part of a healthcare team.

The process of healing following a loss, or a significant life event requires patience and time. Each and every one of us will be affected our own way because everyone is different and grief is as unique as you are, as individual as a fingerprint. You may be feeling helpless and perhaps hopeless. Whether you are struggling with ongoing anxiety or depression, or with a loss experience or life transition, hopes and dreams may be lost as well. Yet you are exploring counselling, and that alone implies that you hold hope for your future.
HOW DO I WORK?
Talking: hearing oneself speak is a very important part of getting to know ourselves – deepening the primary relationships – the one with ourselves!
Being heard: being witnessed: is also a very important element in the healing process and that’s where I come in. Creating a safe, confidential space in which this process can be housed. Joining you on your journey.
