Grief Coaching

Grief doesn’t always come with language. When you don’t have the words for what you’re experiencing mentally, physically, and emotionally, it can feel even more isolating.

Dr. Everett creates space to gently name what has felt hard to explain. Together, you’ll explore your unique relationship with grief, making sense of the ways it shows up in your body, your thoughts, and your daily life. This work is not about rushing toward healing, but about learning how to live with grief in a way that feels intentional, supported, and honest.

  • 1:1 Coaching
  • Hey, Sis! Group Coaching (exclusively for Black women)
  • Drop-In Group Coaching (open to all populations)
  • Curated Workshops

Professional Development

Learning, at its best, should feel both expansive and affirming. Dr. Everett’s professional development offerings are designed to support educators and students in building both skill and confidence.

Includes:

  • Professional development with grieving children
  • Professional development with grieving teachers (pre-service and in-service)
  • Professional development with grieving administrators (K-12 schools, universities, and non-profit or for-profit organizations)

Public Speaking

There is power in being in a room where the truth can be spoken and held. Dr. Everett’s speaking engagements invite audiences into conversations that are both intellectually rich and deeply human.

Speaking topics include:

  • Intersectional grief literacies
  • Black women in academia
  • Writing
  • Healing
  • Navigating loss in professional and academic spaces

Each talk can be thoughtfully curated to meet the needs of your audience, or you can explore these topics as a starting point for conversation.

Dr. Everett is available for keynotes, panel discussions, podcasts, and more.

Consulting

  • Intersectional, critical, and culturally sustaining frameworks guide my approaches to grief literacies, identity, learning, and healing.
  • Through 1:1 and organizational consulting projects, clients are guided through tangible practices rooted in research, racial healing, and compassionate care to solve problems that meet the unique needs of long or short-term individual or organizational projects.
