Certified Grief Educator with David Kessler
Services Offered
Individual and Group Grief Counseling: Telehealth: New York, New Jersey, Vermont; In person: Vermont
Grief is one of the most profound and destabilizing experiences we face as human beings. It will take many forms: the death of a loved one, the loss of a relationship or estrangement, changes in identity or health, and the quiet grief of a life that unfolded differently than expected. It can feel lonely, disorienting, and deeply unsettling — touching not only the loss itself, but often older wounds, unanswered questions, and parts of our story that ask to be seen.
I offer a steady, compassionate space where you can explore grief at your own pace, without pressure to “move on” or make meaning before you are ready. Together, we slow down enough to listen to what grief is asking of you, allowing space for sorrow, love, anger, confusion, and everything in between. My role is to walk alongside you — helping you reconnect with your own inner steadiness, wisdom, and capacity to carry what feels unbearable.
My approach honors grief as a deeply human, individual process. In my work, I provide integrative, trauma-informed psychotherapy to adults navigating grief, as well as anxiety, depression, trauma, and major life transitions. I specialize in helping individuals identify early relational conditioning and develop greater intentionality in adulthood through somatic, psychodynamic, mindfulness-based, and parts-informed approaches.
In a supportive and grounded environment, we gently explore how loss reshapes us, how past and present experiences intertwine, and how healing can emerge not by erasing grief, but by learning to live alongside it with greater self-compassion and connection.
