Grieving is part of the human experience. If you are alive, you will deal with some form of grief or loss during your lifetime. Grief can be so incredibly painful and isolating. It is love with no place to go. There is no right or wrong way to grieve. Grieving is unique to you but there are generally six accepted stages, which are denial, anger, bargaining, depression, acceptance, and finding meaning. Grief can be complicated and fresh loss can trigger old wounds. If you find you need someone to share your pain, witness your loss, and help you navigate this complicated journey, I offer compassionate therapy for grief.
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT44310) and a Certified Grief Educator offering individual, couples, and family therapy in Brea, CA and online throughout the state of California. I am also Certified in Dialectical Behavior Therapy to treat self-harm and suicidality. In addition to grief counseling, my other specialties include trauma therapy, anxiety therapy, depression therapy, therapy for mothers, teen therapy, and therapy for parents of teens.
