Lori is a registered Social Worker (MSW, RSW) with the Newfoundland and Labrador College of Social Workers (NLCSW) She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology/Linguistics), a Diploma in Social Services, a Bachelor of Education (post-Secondary), a Bachelor of Social Work and a Master of Social Work. She has worked in the Social Services field for over 25 years and as a social worker for 12 of those years. She has over 18 years’ experience facilitating group work to many different populations such as youth, adults and families. Lori has completed the Grief Educator Certification as well as Certification in Advanced Trauma Competent Care.

Services Offered

Lori is an individual counsellor and group facilitator. She has worked with those grieving the loss of a family member, loss of family connections and other losses.  She also co-facilitates a Grief and Suicide Loss group, Day of Hope for International Survivors of Suicide Loss and sessions for friends/employers/colleagues on how to assist individuals after the loss of a loved one to suicide.
