Camille Lloyd is a grief educator and registered social worker in Canada who specializes in providing grief services from a culturally responsive, trauma-informed lens. With extensive education and certifications in various therapeutic techniques, Camille is dedicated to supporting individuals through their grief journeys. Her approach is grounded in compassion  and understanding and meaning making, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for healing.

Camille specializes in  accumulative and collective grief support for those navigating intergenerational and legacy traumas, disenfranchised grief services for women experiencing perimenopause, menopause, and post-menopause, and compassionate support for individuals who have lost loved ones to suicide, overdose, and other traumatic events. Through evidence-based therapeutic methods, Camille fosters resilience and facilitates meaningful healing journeys for her clients.

I work one on one, in person or on zoom.  I have been working in the field since 1998 as a master of social worker.  Recently I received my as a grief educator.  I work on relationships, coping with stress and many other topics that people are experiencing.  I work with couples, and individuals.  I now feel qualified to work with people suffering from losses – whether it be through death, separation, health or any other losses.

Grief, in its many forms, can feel overwhelming. Along with sadness, you may also experience anger or a lack of motivation. And, when it feels like the world expects you to carry on, grief can feel like a dark and lonely place. With 28 years of experience in healthcare, I can help you gently explore your thoughts, feelings, and physical symptoms of grief. There is no right way to grieve, and together we will find your unique path forward.

I offer you a safe space where you can feel comfortable sharing how grief is impacting you. We’ll work together to find the strategies that help you gain a greater sense of compassion for yourself and your experience with grief. From Narrative Therapy to expressive journaling, I am here to join you in finding your own inner strength and guidance.
