I provide counseling services for adult individuals dealing with all kinds of loss and grief in in my practice.
Loss in an avoidable part of human experience. We get attached to people, animals, nature, objects, places, memories, etc. And nothing stays the same. We grieve those losses differently. Sometimes people believe that should only have feelings of sadness when they experience a loss. Or maybe they feel guilty if they experience anger, resentment, or relief. There are no “shoulds” in grieving.
I offer a space for clients to explore their feelings, motivations, desires, and fears when life gets messy and complicated.
My work is influenced by relational psychoanalytic ideas, Buddhist psychology, body-oriented psychology, and social justices issues.
