I am an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) practicing in Texas and Nevada. A significant focus of my private practice includes working with the bereaved. In addition, a specialty area of practice is working with parents who have experienced the loss of a child.
Academically, completing my doctoral dissertation, entitled Bereavement, and Parents Who Have Experienced the Sudden Death of a Child, allowed me to explore parental bereavement further. I was honored to explore the lived experiences of these incredible parents as they related their stories of love and loss. In addition, my Ph.D. in Health Psychology helped me focus on the impact of life events, such as grief, and how they impact the individual’s physical and psychological wellbeing.
