GRIEF CERTIFIED PEER-TO-PEER
How to Find the Right Grief Certified Support
We suggest you start with a phone call. Let them know you found them through grief.com.
Ask them about their style.
Tell them briefly about you.
They may or you may ask to start with an initial meeting. In person is the best way to assess if you are a match.
Make sure you discuss fees, before you begin, so there is clarity.

Aloha nui! I am grateful to be a social worker with Lili’uokalani Trust at Kīpuka Koʻolau Poko. Lili’uokalani, the last reigning monarch of Hawai’i created her trust to benefit Native Hawaiian “orphaned and destitute children.” We offer a program called H.O.P.E. a monthly grief support group for kamali’i (children) and ‘ohana (families). H.O.P.E. stands for Helping Our People Emerge. It is the way Lili’uokalani Trust provides grief support services. As an LCSW, I also provide individual support for grieving kamali’i and ‘ohana which incorporates Hawaiian cultural practices as ways of healing.
