GRIEF CERTIFIED PEER-TO-PEER
How to Find the Right Grief Certified Support
We suggest you start with a phone call. Let them know you found them through grief.com.
Ask them about their style.
Tell them briefly about you.
They may or you may ask to start with an initial meeting. In person is the best way to assess if you are a match.
Make sure you discuss fees, before you begin, so there is clarity.

I offer peer grief support. I am willing to sit with you, listen to you and provide resource information. Additionally I am available to be support for those who love someone grieving and are feeling inadequate to do so or have questions or frustrations about that.
Zoom or In Person preferred but I will do a phone call if necessary.
I am currently not charging for my support. That will change as I develop my program for storytelling for grieving people.
I have been a meditation leader for many years and also utilize a meditative art form called Zentangle®
I have been a performer and singer/songwriter/storyteller for many years and am developing a storytelling program for grievers. Since my husband died in 2019 I have been writing songs about grief and grieving as well as using Spoken Word as a form of creative expression of the grieving process.
As that develops further I will share that information here.

Childhood was tough (ACE score of 7). But nothing prepared me for the loss of my daughter. April 18, 2017, I became a bereaved parent and life has never been the same. It’s a lot of work, but you can find joy and meaning and live a full life. I belong to a bereaved mom’s group and have walked along with others through this journey. When I lost my daughter, I quickly learned that people don’t know what to say or how to act. We are their worst fear. I have over 30 years experience in social services and was in shock at the things that were said. I recently completed the Grief Educator Certificate Program led by David Kessler. It was life changing. This is where I am meant to be. Do you need someone to help you understand grief, the stages, the mess and that everything you are feeling is normal?
Do you prefer in person? Virtual? Either works for me.
