I’m Kristen Norman and I am a Grief Educator. A Certified Grief Educator is committed to providing the highest level of grief support through education, experience, and insights into the often unacknowledged rocky terrain of grief.
We live in a grief illiterate society. Few people recognize the full impact of grief in our lives or that grief is a continued journey, not something that expires after 6 months or a year.
Through my own experience with grief, I felt the desire to “bring grief out of the closet” and help normalize grieving. To reach that goal, I became a Certified Grief Educator and one of the most important things I learned in that training is that grief needs to be witnessed.
My job as a Grief Educator is to witness your grief and help you navigate your grief journey.
I offer peer to peer support, grief group facilitation and presentations on grief.

I offer one-to-one grief support for individuals navigating loss and the many ways it can impact daily life, relationships, and identity. My approach is gentle, present, and guided by what you need most in the moment, creating space for honest conversation and reflection as you move through grief.
Sessions are personalized and evolve based on where you are in your journey. Some people come seeking language for what they’re feeling, while others want support making sense of how grief shows up in their body, thoughts, or relationships. The focus is on helping you feel supported, understood, and less alone.
For those who feel drawn to it, there is an option to include an evidential mediumship reading during the first session. This is entirely optional and offered as a way to explore continued connection with a loved one alongside grief support. Others choose to focus solely on grief support, and both approaches are welcomed and respected.
Sessions are offered one-to-one via Zoom.

I became a survivor of suicide loss when my 19-year-old son died by suicide in 2015. I found great comfort and healing in attending a suicide-specific support group where I could share my pain with others that understood the loss and trauma I was experiencing. Now, I do my best to take my personal experience and the training I have received to sit with and support others on their grief journeys.
Please allow me the honor of being fully present and sitting with you as you share your love and grief with me. Allow me to create a safe place to support you in your grief, to remind you that you are not alone on this journey. I am here to help you acknowledge and encourage you to express your grief and all that you are feeling and experiencing. To be with you as you dive into your grief work, to help you find tools and resources that you can use to help you cope with your grief, and integrate your loss into your life so you can love and live fully as you carry your love and memories with you. Maggie works with groups and individuals who want to intentionally grieve a loss of a loved one, including a pet. Maggie offers educational classes on a 32 acre hobby farm with chickens, cattle and horses. If you believe being nature has healing powers on its own, this is the right fit for you. Maggie will taylor the sessions to your individual needs and losses. Maggie’s goal is to help you move beyond surviving a loss, into thriving and participating full in your life. Maggie’s journey beyond the pain of loss has been a life long one. She had a significant amount of loss including influential people and loved pets. The most traumatic death was of her beloved big bother and only sibling when he died by suicide in 2012.
She has found many different modalities to help on her lifelong healing journey and she would like to share some of them with you.
