GRIEF CERTIFIED PEER-TO-PEER
How to Find the Right Grief Certified Support
We suggest you start with a phone call. Let them know you found them through grief.com.
Ask them about their style.
Tell them briefly about you.
They may or you may ask to start with an initial meeting. In person is the best way to assess if you are a match.
Make sure you discuss fees, before you begin, so there is clarity.

My own experiences with the losses of my sister, father, mother, stepmother, and 10 year-old daughter shaped who I am today, and it is my life’s work helping others navigate their own grief journeys. I am the creator of Grieving Mommy where I both blog and create YouTube videos about grief, and author of the upcoming book Grief Sucks, but Your Life Doesn’t Have To. I encourage you to watch a few of my videos on YouTube or social media to see if you think we’d be a good fit!

I was drawn to be a grief educator after working with those grieving in faith communities over the last 12+ years as a pastor. Following the death of my beloved grandfather in 2021, I started to volunteer with hospice and became an End of Life Doula in order to help individuals and families live their final days with honor and dignity, leaving behind a legacy that is the truest reflection of their hearts. All of these pieces o the journey came together to lead to becoming a grief educator to walk with people through and beyond death.
