I work with teenagers and adults who are experiencing depression, loss, anxiety, difficulty adjusting to a new situation, and other challenges. I am sensitive to the fact loss takes many forms: loss of a loved one, a pet, a job, a relationship, a feeling of home or community, health, independence, among many others. Each and every one of these losses is important and should be honored. Additionally, many people tell me they received support from people in their life for a short time, then get the impression others think they have grieved long enough and need to move on. I am willing to go on a journey with my clients, no matter how long it takes.
