Professional Certifications and Licenses

Alongside my private practice work, I have many years experience of working in education welfare and therapeutic care for adolescents.

My training with the Guild of Psychotherapy led to my working with borderline personality disorders and psychosis, and I have a special interest in working with depression and its varied effects on day-to-day life and the workplace. Much of my current work is with people from a legal, corporate and media background as well as from the world of social care, education and the Arts.

Whilst I practice long-term psychotherapy, I also have links to Employee Assistance Programmes offering short term work and I am currently expanding my practice to work with various issues including disorders which stem from British and Irish boarding / public school abuse and violence.

Sometimes it feels difficult to talk to family and friends about your problems. Psychotherapy and counselling can provide a confidential space for you to talk about the things which are preventing you from living a fulfilled life.

Your upbringing, early attachments and past environments may have affected you in some way, leaving you feeling insecure or lacking in confidence and unable to sustain healthy relationships. Talking this through with a psychotherapist can give you fresh perspectives and enable you to understand and value yourself more.

What psychotherapy and counselling can offer you:

Psychotherapy and counselling provides a confidential space in which you can express how you are feeling and reflect on problems and their underlying causes. Therapy is also challenging, as you face difficult feelings and ways of thinking in relation to others.

Services Offered

I am a psychoanalytic psychotherapist who trained with the Guild of Psychotherapists. I have a particular interest in working with depression and its effect on one’s lifestyle and the workplace. I am experienced in working with depression, anxiety, stress, attachment difficulties, alcohol/substance/gambling addictions, childhood trauma and sexual abuse, fertility issues and psychosis.

I am a co-founder of the Wilton Consultancy Ltd. We represent a small group of established psychoanalytic and attachment psychotherapists working in Victoria & Westminster in central London.

We offer both long-term psychotherapeutic work and/or short-term periods of counselling.

Our London practice is within easy reach (under 2 minutes walk) of Victoria tube and mainline train stations.

We also have referral connections with therapists in Horsham, Brighton, Guildford, Crawley and Croydon.
