I offer grief and loss counselling in Melbourne, Australia, and online. I work with individuals and couples around a variety of loss experiences. Due to my lived experience of miscarriage and neonatal loss, when my 2nd son died 9 hours after birth, I enjoy working with parents experiencing the pain of perinatal bereavement including miscarriage, stillbirth, neonatal loss, and medical termination.
I have a particular interest in disenfranchised grief – grief in the ‘shadows’, unacknowledged and invalidated by many.
I also acknowledge the grief experienced by many after non-death losses such as betrayal trauma, separation and divorce. The loss of identity and role, and the layers of loss can have a rippling effect among the family system. Therapy with an objective, lived-experience counsellor provides an impartial, secure base to support you through your grief and recovery process.
