Affirming Therapy for the LGBTQ+ Community
For those of us in the LGBTQ+ community, it can be challenging to find comfort and safety in a world that is often negating—and even hostile—toward queer people. Psychotherapy can provide a new sense of hope for each of us. Current research indicates that the single greatest factor leading to successful outcomes in therapy is the relationship between client and therapist. We can create a safe space together.
I’ll work with you to create and foster a safe, compassionate, judgment-free therapeutic space for you to breathe, think, explore and be heard. Even when the room we share is virtual, it’s a room where you can feel comfortable to reflect and explore at your own pace. Whatever concerns we address, I’ll support you in cultivating a practice of self-acceptance and self-love, strengths that can help you move forward and thrive.
