I have been licensed as a mental health counselor since 2001 and in private practice since 2011. I see adolescents, adults, and couples. I am a trauma-informed therapist and work with people who have had childhood experiences of disruption, neglect, and abuse, as well as people who have experienced a more recent traumatic event.
I specialize in Grief and Loss support. I see individuals and couples (online and in person); and I facilitate local and online support groups for grief and loss. Current groups are listed on my Psychology Today profile.
Other topics and issues I can help with include: life transitions (midlife, launching, retirement), social anxiety, generalized anxiety, depression, adoption, family dynamics, parenting, boundary setting, work relationships, and stress.
